Each postdoctoral fellow (trainee) who enters the Tri-Institutional Molecular Mycology and Pathogenesis Training Program (Tri-I MMPTP) will receive an NIH-level stipend commensurate with his or her years of postdoctoral experience, health insurance for the trainee and his or her family, tuition for any courses taken as part of the training, annual travel funds to attend scientific meetings ($1,000), and the opportunity to mentor an undergraduate assistant in the summer.

 

Stipend Levels for each year will be determined in accordance with the NIH. 

 

The current 2015 NIH postdoctoral annual stipend levels are as follows:

Postdoctoral fellows appointed to the Tri-Institutional MMPTP NIH institutional training grant must be compensated at the level mandated by NIH, including the annual stipend increases based on years of postgraduate experience.
